On October 28, from 12 pm to 7pm, all are invited to join us in Atlanta for the Curls, Kinks and Culture Festival. This one-of-a-kind celebration of natural hair isn't just a hair show. Attendees can look forward to an array of features and attractions including musical performances, interactive exercise presentations, cooking demonstrations and trap karaoke! You can also meet me in person as I personally launch an exciting new surprise collection that you won't be able to find anywhere else but at this event. I'm talking super exclusive!
One of the festival highlights is the Protective Styles Pop-Up Lounge which will feature the Weave Rescue and Braid Bar. The Taliah Waajid Styling team will be on hand to guide guests through protective styles refresh tutorials using products from my Protective Styles collection. The lounge will also showcase a key aspect of promoting and maintaining healthy natural hair: night time hair care.
The night time hair care class will review how to:
- Avoid matting, frizz, damage and breakage to the hair overnight.
- Properly moisturize and protect the hair while sleeping.
- Select the proper bonnet or scarf for protecting your hair at night.
- Prepare your hair at night for easy styling in the morning.
Learn all you need to know about night time hair care at the Protective Styles Pop-Up Lounge when you attend our Curls, Kinks and Culture Festival. Also, you won't want to miss hanging out with me to get a first look at my latest new collection! For more information on the event and to purchase tickets, please visit the event website here.
As always, if you have any questions for me on how to style, maintain and care for your natural tresses, please don’t hesitate to email me at asktaliah@naturalhair.org. I’m always here to help!
